Novel technologies are helping marketers and sales people draw sales more efficiently. marketing automation programs now play a sizeable role in helping this process. Fundamentally, promotion automation systems mechanically move prospects down the sales funnel. 1) Lead capture - A lead lands on a landing page and fills out a form.

3) Now the marketing automation system sends out an automatic email that looks like it is personal and from the real estate agent. 6) Depending on their preferences, text messages may be sent to the prospect to keep them updated.

5) As part of the product, an automated notification may go to the agent telling them to physically call the prospect.

7) A week later, and postcard is sent out detailing a property that has just been sold by you in the area. This helps to show the prospect that you have a good market presence in their neighborhood.
8) A few weeks later, an email newsletter is emailed to the prospect. Once again, when the email is sent, promotion automation system puts a to-do action to notify you to call the prospect and follow up.

More importantly, don’t adopt “SEO tunnel vision” to the point you neglect your websites primary offering (whether that be products, services, content, or a combination of the three).
